Dating Workshop

NEXT SESSION: Saturday October 18th & Saturday October 25th

As a marriage and family therapist who has walked with many others through their dating experiences, and someone who has lived through her own experience in the dating world, I’ve learned that dating can feel like a lot of things. It can feel like emotional fatigue from dating apps and conversations that dead end over and over again. Or, like the confusion and frustration of a situationship that lacks commitment and clarity. It can feel like being in and out of the revolving door of relationships or like you’re stuck on the sidelines watching everyone else play the game. It can be “I never thought I’d be here” and “I never want to be here again.”

Instead of deep, fulfilling, rich connection, we’re often met with disappointment, loneliness, or frustration.

But it doesn’t have to be that way.

This workshop is about restoring the joy - and the confidence - back in dating. It’s about providing a roadmap of relational wisdom that helps us shift from loathing or feeling lost in the dating process to confidently walking in our worth, quickly spotting the red and green flags in relationships, and dating with integrity and delight. In this two-day workshop, you will learn the markers of healthy - and unhealthy -  relationships that help you make wise choices about who and how you invest your time as well as practical tools that support a thoughtful, meaningful dating experience.

  • Whether you are actively dating or thinking about dating (or thinking about swearing off dating), this dating workshop is for those in their 20s and 30s who are ready to honestly confront relationship challenges and build a new roadmap towards healthy relationships.

    • Improve your dating skills: learn to identify red (and yellow and green) flags, improve your communication, and build stronger connections

    • Increase confidence: learn tools and strategies to navigate the dating world with more confidence

    • Deepen intimacy and vulnerability: learn how giving voice to your needs and preferences in a relationship builds deeper intimacy - and how to do this well

    • Increase potential for lasting relationships: develop wisdom with biblical, clinical, and relational underpinnings that builds healthy, lasting relationships

    • Develop greater self-awareness: be able to honestly name how you feel in your relationships and become more authentic as you honor your boundaries and needs

    • Restore joy to dating: rediscover dating as a rewarding experience

    • Process your dating life: find support in a group of likeminded others who understand the challenges, pitfalls, delights, and hopes within dating; practice new skills in real-time with feedback and interactions with workshop members

GROUP THERAPY

Mending The Soul

NEXT SESSION: September 10th - November 19th, 2025

This Mending the Soul group is for women and specifically designed to help you work through all the abuses in your story – from childhood to any current relationships, personal and professional. These abuses may include spiritual, sexual, physical, emotional/mental, and/or verbal.

So many of our stories contain overt abuse, where it is clear and obvious. However, a majority of us have covert abuse, that is harder to define. This group will help you process both types.

Our stories are all our own and we must resist the temptation to compare. A group like this helps us understand our own stories and brings healing in ways that individual work cannot provide.
