Are you tired of being tired? Physically tired from poor sleep... exhausted emotionally from
carrying more than you show... or worn out by the same arguments, misunderstandings, and
patterns that leave you feeling stuck or disconnected?
I work with leaders, couples, creatives, and adults who appear capable on the outside but feel
internally anxious, exhausted, or uncertain about who they are becoming. Many of the people I
meet with are thoughtful, high-capacity individuals navigating leadership pressure, creative
performance demands, faith questions, or significant life transitions. I am especially attentive to
the quiet strain of perfectionism and imposter syndrome that often accompanies responsibility
and ambition.
MY PHILOSOPHY AND APPROACH
There are seasons in life when our usual ways of coping no longer work. Negative ways of coping creep in. Anxiety increases. Sleep becomes disrupted. Relationships feel strained. We may begin to question our direction, identity, or calling. I believe transformation unfolds in the context of safety — where insight, courage, and compassion meet.
Part of our work together involves gently exploring the story you have been living — the messages you have received, the roles you have carried, and the identities you have adopted along the way. Drawing from narrative therapy, I help clients examine these stories with curiosity and care. Often, the problem has become entangled with your sense of self. Together, we work to separate what has happened to you from who you truly are.
As your story unfolds, we listen for themes of resilience, longing, faith, creativity, and calling. We pay attention to the deeper questions beneath the symptoms: Who am I becoming? What matters most? What kind of life am I meant to live? In this way, therapy becomes not only a place of healing, but also a space of discernment — clarifying purpose and reclaiming agency.
Growth is not about becoming someone entirely new, but about becoming more fully yourself, with greater integrity and alignment between your values and your daily life.
Clinically, I integrate Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (including CBT-I for insomnia), Emotionally Focused Therapy principles for couples, and trauma-informed, attachment-aware care. I also attend carefully to the practical rhythms that support mental health — sleep, stress regulation, and sustainable habits — because insight alone is rarely enough without supportive daily patterns.
In addition to therapy, I provide individual and group clinical supervision for emerging counselors. I enjoy mentoring clinicians in developing clinical confidence, thoughtfully integrating faith and theology with sound evidence-based practice, and building sustainable, values-aligned private practices. I also offer wellness coaching for individuals seeking structured habit change and long-term behavioral growth.
Above all, I seek to offer a steady, grounded presence — a place where you can slow down, listen carefully to your life, and move forward with greater clarity, courage, and wholehearted living.
EDUCATION & TRAINING
Before returning fully to private practice, I spent 17 years in sleep medicine, serving as an
Insomnia Program Coordinator at Kaiser Permanente. I also worked for over a decade in
Kaiser’s Health & Wellness Department, coaching individuals in sustainable lifestyle
transformation — including weight management, smoking cessation, chronic pain support,
stress reduction, and healthy sleep. That experience continues to shape my whole-person
approach, where emotional, spiritual, and physical health are deeply interconnected.
